About Michigan Presents

Michigan Presents is a collaborative effort built on a shared belief:
when professionals are better connected, informed, and inspired, the individuals and families they serve experience better outcomes.

Founded through the partnership of leading organizations across the behavioral health and recovery community—including Feinberg Consulting, Newport Heatlhcare, Henry Ford Maplegrove Center, River's Bend PC, and the National Association for Children of Addiction—Michigan Presents was created to bring together a community that is often working toward the same goals, but without enough opportunities to truly connect.

The History of Michigan Presents

What began as a single-day speaker event has grown into a highly anticipated annual gathering for professionals across Michigan and the broader Midwest.

Over the years, Michigan Presents has:

  • Brought nationally recognized voices in behavioral health and recovery to our community

  • Created a trusted space for connection and collaboration

  • Attracted a diverse audience of clinicians, medical professionals, educators, clergy, and community leaders

In 2026, we are expanding to a two-day experience:

  • Day One: Provider Forum — designed to deepen relationships, highlight programs, and create meaningful referral connections

  • Day Two: Speaker Symposium — featuring nationally recognized experts delivering impactful, practice-changing insights

This evolution reflects what our attendees have consistently told us:
they are not just looking for information—they are looking for connection, context, and community.

Michigan Presents is About Bringing Change

The Michigan Presents group brings together behavioral health and community professionals across Michigan through annual continuing education conferences designed to foster learning, collaboration, and meaningful connection. With a shared commitment to compassionate, practical approaches that strengthen individuals, families, and communities, these gatherings not only enhance professional practice but also serve a greater purpose—uniting participants around a philanthropic mission.

In this way, Michigan Presents creates a country-wide, powerful dual impact—advancing professional excellence while giving back to help ensure that no child affected by the disease of addiction feels unseen or unheard.

Our Commitment to Giving Back

At the heart of Michigan Presents is a commitment to making a broader impact beyond the conference itself.

Each year, a portion of the proceeds from this event is donated to the National Association for Children of Addiction (NACoA), supporting their mission to improve the lives of children and families affected by addiction.

Through the support of our attendees, sponsors, and partners, we have proudly raised funds to help advance NACoA’s work—ensuring that education, support, and advocacy continue to reach those who need it most.

This is not an add-on to our event.
It is a core part of who we are.

To date, through the generosity of sponsors and ticket sales, we have contributed $12,000 to NACoA!

We believe:

  • Connection is as important as education

  • Collaboration leads to better outcomes

  • Families deserve systems that work together—not in silos

  • The work we do as professionals is deeply human, and should be supported as such

Michigan Presents is our way of bringing those beliefs to life—together.
